Subj: GLIDEPATH: V1.07A Landing Simulator Date: August 31, 1994 From: Eastreet Computing Services Glidepath V1.07A for Windows is an instrument landing system (ILS) simulation in which you attempt to land a light aircraft by reference to instrument indications. The program displays the primary flight and navigation instruments and controls, and accepts control input via the mouse. Glidepath is a challenging, technically accurate simulation that requires practice and concentration to master. This program requires large amounts of Windows resources to display its detailed control panel. Technical Note: Glidepath V1.07A is best used at a resolution of 640x480, or on a 17" or larger monitor at 800x600 or above, as the controls and instruments may be too small to effectively see and manipulate at higher resolutions if you use a 14" or 15" monitor. If your screen driver is 800x600 you have the following options: If you are using "LARGE Fonts", run "Gl800lG.EXE". If you are using "SMALL Fonts", run "Gl800SM.EXE". Delete these two files if the above does not apply to your system. Online help screens may be accessed by "clicking" on the on/off switch by the "?". You will need a copy of "VBRUN100.DLL" on your system to run Glidepath. I designed Glidepath with the intention pure arcade style entertainment. The tight game parameters instill a pilots dicipline in you as you approach the runway. After playing Glidepath you will see what I mean! John T.
